Confirmation...

Confirmation of your reservation is required by telephone, writing, faxing or e-mail. We will also require your credit card details, which will be held on file in order to secure the room.

Payment...

Account to be settled on departure. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Switch, and cheques which can only be accepted if supported by a valid cheque card.

Cancellation policy...

We need 2 clear days' notice of any cancellation. If shorter or no notice is given we will charge your credit card in full. If however, the room is re-let to another customer we will only charge for any shortfall. Every reasonable effort is made to re-let the room in the event of a short notice cancellation.

Check in/out times...

Immediate occupancy of the rooms cannot be guaranteed before Noon on day of arrival, unless previous notice is given. Likewise please let us know if you intend to arrive late in the evening. Rooms should be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure unless alternative arrangements have been made.

Car parking...

There is ample parking in the grounds for guests, but friends of guests must make arrangements with the hotel if they need to leave their cars any length of time. Pulteney Hotel is obliged to state that cars and their contents are parked entirely at car owners' risk.

Pulteney House Hotel does not allow smoking in the rooms. But smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas of the hotel.

We regret that we are unable to accommodate any pets other than the Guide dogs of visually impaired guests, or by special arrangements.

Pulteney House hotel reserves the right to alter it's published rates and Terms & Conditions if necessary and without notice.
