At about 1 mile from the city centre on the A4 a major traffic light junction will show directions to the A36. Follow the A36 ring road to Exeter and Wells over the river, passing a Fire Station on your left. Go through the first major set of traffic lights ( which takes you right ) until you get to a large roundabout. Proceed straight over this roundabout and Pulteney House is about 100yards on the left hand side. From BristolProceed to Bath along the A4 where at the end of the dual carriageway take the right fork ( go straight on ) - the Lower Bristol Road (A36) into the city crossing two sets of traffic lights. Stay on this main road following the signs for the A36. At a major roundabout which has the river on your left, and railway lines passing overhead, proceed under the railway lines and straight over. At the next main set of traffic lights proceed straight ahead under the railway bridge and Pulteney House is on the right about halfway along before the roundabout. From the West and SouthFollow the A36 ring road.
